The El Paso Community College Contract Opportunities Center will host the 15th Annual Veterans Business Conference. The conference will be held at the EPCC Administrative Services Center, 9050 Viscount Blvd. El Paso, TX 79925 in the Auditorium and Boardroom from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. MDT.
ALL VETERAN & NON-VETERAN BUSINESSES AND ENTREPRENEURS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
This conference is open to all businesses, contractors and vendors interested in contracting with government agencies. There will be a focus on Veteran/Service Disabled Veteran Owned businesses, but all businesses are invited.
This conference provides a venue for local and regional Veteran Owned businesses to make federal agencies and their prime contractors aware of their existence and capabilities. It further allows businesses of all socioeconomic categories to network and begin the development of business relationships. Historically, this conference has been a resource for government agencies and contractors to extend their outreach to West Texas and its veteran and commercial business community.
Active duty military personnel that are about to transition to civilian life and have an interest in being entrepreneurs are strongly encouraged to attend this conference. Organizations that assist in business development have been invited to participate
Sponsorship opportunities will be available for businesses seeking to highlight and market their firms to conference attendees.
All planning to attend must pre-register. The cost to attend is only $20. This fee includes continental breakfast and lunch.
Booths will be available for federal, state or local government agencies, and vendors interested in personal and interactive market research opportunities.
General Registration Fees: The registration fee is $20 per person (presenters & panelists excluded).
Booth Space: Requests for booth/exhibitor space must be received at the time registrations are submitted or no later than two weeks prior to the event. There will be a fee of $50, for booth /exhibitor space, in addition to the $20 registration fee.
Electricity is available for an additional fee of $20. Priority for booth/exhibitor space will be given to sponsors, government agencies, and government prime contractors. All others will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as long as space is available. All booths must be paid 1 week prior to the event. Booth space is 8ft wide. Any display that is wider than 8ft must be noted when registering so that proper accommodation can be made. Please note that any display wider than 10ft may require the purchase of additional booth space.
Government Registration: There are no registration fees for Government Funded Entities. Government Funded Entities may register up 2 attendees and may include a booth at no cost. Any Government Registration that includes more than two attendees will incur a $20 registration fee for each attendee beyond the initial 2 waived attendees.
